How To Adjust the Call Volume on the Samsung Galaxy S III

  • MORE

Ever have the issue of barely being able to hear the person on the other end of the phone call? Wish you could tweak the sound quality so you could hear them perfectly? Samsung has you covered. Included with the new Samsung Galaxy S III is an in-call equalizer that you can use to either adjust the tone of a phone call or simply boost the volume altogether.

1. Open the phone app.

2. Tap the menu button and select Call Settings.

3. Toggle on Use extra vol. for calls to increase the overall volume and/or tap the In-call sound EQ settings to fine tune the in-call sound.

4. Tap In-call sound EQ to choose from different equalizer profiles or select Personalized EQ to create your own equalizer profile (you will need a set of headphones to create a personalized EQ).

5. Within In-call EQ, you can choose from different profiles to optimize the sound for the call.

My call volume from the earpiece is too high. Always I make or receive a call the volume is set to highest: 6/6 and even if I change the volume during the call, the next time I call it is back on highest volume again. Could you please tell me how to change the call volume in general for all future calls? I have Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo with android 5.1.1 lollipop. My brother has the same phone and he has his call volume set to about 3/6. I don't know how is this possible because I've searched whole settings and found nothing like Call volume options.
    Please help.

my s3 SGH-1747M RUNS ON ANDROID VERSION 4.0.4 software. when I pick up the cellphone to respond, the caller voice becomes loud and heard by my surroundings. I tried to sole it by reducing the volume but couldn't mitigated. I want to hear the caller sound limited to me only, not to the surroundings. what shall I do?

My S3 GT-I9300 runs on Android version 4.3 software.
When I go into the Call Settings as detailed above there is NO "Use extra vol. for calls" option.
Is there some other way to increase the listening volume when i am receiving a call?

While using headset on my Samsung Galaxy S3, everyone on the other end of the phone call says my voice is coming through too loud. This applies to both a blue tooth, as well as wired headsets.
    I cannot find a solution.
