Microsoft's back-to-school sale continues to slash hundreds of dollars off select Surface devices and Windows gaming laptops. So if you're long overdue for a new PC, you'll want to check out the Microsoft Store's sale. 

As part of the sale, the 256GB model Microsoft Surface Pro X is now $999. That's $300 off this configuration's $1,299 list price and one of the best Surface Pro deals of the season.

Microsoft's Surface Pro X is a capable 2-in-1 laptop with optional keyboard (sold separately).
