Jason Anderson (of G Style Magazine)

Oh it is good to be back! This is the first G Styled article of 2011 and I'm starting it off with the Lenovo IdeaPad U260. You know, I'm not what you would call a fan of Lenovo; they do throw a good C...

This week I have been asked to determine if lack of style can take precedence over performance. I had a look at the ASUS G73Jh gaming laptop -- you can check out the performance review here, but since...

Everyone needs a bit of style advice in their life, especially if the only style decisions you ever make have to do with the color of your MacBook cover. To bring a bit more vogue into our world we've...

Man oh man, what a mashup I had this week. Let's see, the iPhone 4 was in stores on the 24th, and the Motorola Droid X was revealed to be coming out this July. So where to go with this? One could say ...

Wow you guys really had a lot of passion about the Dell Streak the other week! This week I won't be bashing a device -- in fact, I love this one. I checked out the ASUS U33Jc, which I actually saw a c...

This week my research took place at the Samsung Experience in the Time Warner building and not at the Laptop Magazine office (so feels like it was a field trip!). There Samsung had their 2011 Spring S...

My heart is heavy this week people. This week I put my hands on the HP TouchPad for the first time and was disappointed. You have to understand something, I've been fiending for this device since I fi...

So this week a ton of BlackBerry PlayBook reviews came out, including the one right here on Laptop Magazine. I just happened to attend a BlackBerry Launch event on Thursday and was able to leave the e...

I must say right off the bat, the Galaxy Player 4.0 definitely looks like a first generation iPhone or maybe the iPhone 3G. The 5.0 not so much. The Galaxy Players are supposed to be the media- only c...

I must say, I'm not really a fan of the ThinkPad series of laptops, but Lenovo recently has been stepping their game up. They have really started to embrace their inner tech sexy and begun producing l...

Yes, I said it, the Motorola Matrix. I know they wanted to call it that. What happened was someone sent out the press release without realizing there was a typo and boom the Atrix was born!First off, ...

I'm not really sure how I feel about the Lenovo IdeaPad K1. On the one hand,  it has a decent shape and form, and it is thin but not too thin. When you look at the back, it has a splash of color (I ...

Style is important everywhere you go -- in the boardroom or the after work lounge, your sense of style is always measured. So from the custom tailored suit, down to the laptop you work with, you must ...

This week I had a nice long look at the Nook Color and I can honestly say that I was impressed. Maybe there needs to be a little back story here. You see, since I've started doing this column for Lapt...

This week I had a look at the MyTouch 4G over at Laptop Magazine. I must say it is about time that T-Mobile has another high end Android device. Android started out on T-Mobile and I used to think of ...

You know something, you can never do wrong with trying to bribe me with a Toshiba laptop/netbook product. Before I moved on to my Apple Macbook Pro (for purely power and status reasons) my PC home was...

So, last week Iron Man 2 came out in theaters, and LG piggybacked off of that with the release of the LG Ally. While at the Laptop Magazine office this week I had the chance to check out the Ally and ...

I think if any bag post can redeem the last time you saw me with a bag here at LAPTOP, it would be this one. PowerBag's line of backpacks, messenger bags, and more is designed by fūl, which—though ...

"Who let the dogs out…." You might be wondering why I just said that. Well, I'm referencing character Alan Garner from The Hangover. He is the perfect person for this topic of article. You see, this...

This week I checked out the Acer Iconia 6120. This thing is cool. Looking at it is like looking at some futuristic machine that you might see on TV or some science fiction movie. Just think about this...

Well it looks like another round of tablets, eReaders, and those in between are currently making their way onto the market. I've been asked this week to weigh in on the Nook Tablet and the Kindle Fire...

Let's be clear. Microsoft is trailing behind Apple and Google when it comes to smartphones. So it hasn't been able to gain any major marketing share. Nokia to me represents a chance to do that. It isn...

What a treat this week. So far I've only briefly had a chance to see the new Apple iPad 2, and not at all for the Motorola Xoom. So to spend some time with both was delightful. But now that begs the q...
