The Best wireless microphones you can buy today
Why you can trust Laptop Mag
Rode barely held onto to its top spot as it remains our best overall wireless microphone kit with the Rode Wireless Go II. Its recording quality, range, and completeness of its kit allow content creators to record excellent audio across multiple platforms with ease. We loved being able to ditch our DSLP, connect the Wireless Go II to our smartphones, and create 4K footage with professional-level audio.
DJI wasn't far behind after snagging an Editor's Choice in our recent review of the simply named DJI Mic 2, while Razer and Movo found their way onto our list thanks to a blend of capability and affordability.
Here's a closer look at the best wireless microphones available today.

The DJI Mic 2 ($349) improves on its predecessor with a sleek design and impressive AI noise cancellation. It competes well against rivals, offering clear audio in various environments. While the user interface is user-friendly with a touchscreen and dial, it has a slight learning curve for achieving the best results.
This microphone system is ideal for content creators, journalists, and vloggers who prioritize capturing professional-grade audio on the go. The AI noise cancellation effectively reduces background noise, ensuring clear vocals. If budget isn't a top concern and excellent audio is your priority, the DJI Mic 2 stands out with its capabilities, making it a strong recommendation, especially for noisy environments.

For a mere $129, the Blink 500 B2+ wireless mic kit offers a staggering amount of value. The audio recording quality and active noise cancellation (ANC) rival those of the much pricier DJI Wireless mic kit, making it a budget-friendly dream come true for content creators.
The real magic lies in its versatility. Not only can you connect the receiver to your camera for professional-grade audio, but a dedicated aux output allows you to simultaneously record the same high-quality sound to your smartphone – perfect for creators who utilize both platforms. It's a game-changer, and all at an accessible price point.
Sure, the hard plastic build might not scream "luxury," but don't let that fool you. Both the receiver and transmitter are surprisingly sturdy. (Full disclosure: for the sake of testing – definitely not because of clumsiness – I dropped them from over four feet during filming, multiple times. Not a scratch.)
This is a fantastic "grab-and-go" microphone set that delivers pro-level audio at an incredible price. It's a testament to the fact that amazing features don't have to break the bank.

No, you didn't accidentally scroll back to the top, the Rode Wireless Go II is also available as a single transmitter. Offering the same ultra-compact form factor and an unmatched feature set as the original, but with just one transmitter instead of two, it’s the ultimate wireless microphone for solo content creators. The receiver in the single set and identical to its dual-channel sibling, meaning an additional transmitter can easily be paired for dual-channel recording. You get all the same features and range for just $187.
5. Movo WMX-1

With Movo’s WMX-1 2.4GHz wireless mic kit, you will get a complete kit with everything you need to connect the wireless mic system to a DSLR, computer, or smartphone, for $59. The kit has cables for all these connections and a quality lavalier microphone. You get 200 feet of range between the transmitter and receiver, which is more than enough for most content creators.
This versatility and price point is why the Movo WMX-1 makes our list, as it’s a great affordable option for beginning content creators to have in the kit. The one major flaw for some may be the need to carry AAA batteries, which can add weight to your kit. However, if you are just getting started and can't afford one of the pricier kits on our list then this is an excellent option.
