You’d press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, and then select Task Manager. Once there, you’d select the unresponsive program and click Quit.


The Mac OS X Way

You’ll right-click the icon of the unresponsive program and select Quit. Alternatively, you can press Command+Option+Escape. Select the appropriate application in the Force Quit window and then select Force Quit.
