The Xbox Series X gameplay reveal event just happened, and while it was a little underwhelming, not delivering all the Xbox Series X games you've been waiting for, there are quite a few trailers. We have the Inside Xbox livestream video below as well as all of the trailers revealed.

Here's all of the Xbox Series X games that were revealed:

Assassin's Creed Valhalla

We got another Assassin's Creed Valhalla that included some gameplay snippets, but it's really difficult to judge how the game looks when all of the gameplay was shot in a very cinematic format. The description of the new Assassin's Creed game reads:

"Ninth century AD. Driven from Norway by endless wars and dwindling resources, a Viking raider, Eivor, leads a clan of Norsemen across the icy North Sea to the rich lands of England’s broken kingdoms. Their mission: establish a new permanent home, no matter the cost.

In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you are Eivor, a fierce Viking warrior raised on tales of battle and glory. Explore a dynamic and beautiful open world set against the brutal backdrop of England’s Dark Ages. Raid your enemies, grow your settlement, and build your political power in your quest to earn your place among the gods in Valhalla."

Yakuza: Like a Dragon

Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be launching day one on Xbox Series X. It released in Japan on PS4 earlier this year. The description reads:

"Become Ichiban Kasuga, a low-ranking yakuza grunt left on the brink of death by the man he trusted most. Take up your legendary bat and get ready to crack some underworld skulls in dynamic RPG combat set against the backdrop of modern-day Japan."

Second Extinction

Turok is back baby! Or at least, something that looks like Turok. Second Extinction is  a three-person co-op game about killing mutated dinosaurs. I wish it was Turok. The description reads:

"Fight through a maelstrom of bullets, bombs, teeth, claws and gore, it's up to you to reclaim Earth!"

Scarlet Nexus

The anime game of your dreams is coming to Xbox Series X. Scarlet Nexus is a third-person sci-fi action game developed by Bandai Namco Studios. The description reads:

"In a far distant future, humanity’s last hope falls into the hands of an elite group of psionic soldiers, who battle an invincible threat known as, Others. Unravel the mysteries of a Brain Punk future caught between technology and psychic abilities in, SCARLET NEXUS."

The Medium

The Medium looks pretty wild. It's psychological horror game about a medium living between two world: the real world and the spirit world. It's slated to launch Holiday 2020 on Xbox Series X and PC. The description reads:

"Haunted by a vision of a child’s murder, you travel to an abandoned hotel resort, which years ago became the stage of an unthinkable tragedy. There you begin your search for difficult answers."

The Ascent

The Ascent gave off some serious Ruiner vibes. It's a solo or co-op top-down action RPG set in a cyberpunk world. The description of the game reads:

"The mega corporation that owns you and everyone, The Ascent Group, has just collapsed. Can you survive without it?"

Call of the Sea

The Call of the Sea trailer was a nice refreshing break from murderous vampires. It's a first-person adventure game filled with gorgeous visuals and puzzles. It's set in the 1930s South Pacific. Your goal is to hunt for your husband's missing expedition.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is by far the creepiest trailer on this list. It's about vampires and lots and lots of murder and some sick crap. It's probably going to be fun. The description reads:

"Enter the World of Darkness and rise through vampire society. Experience Seattle - a city full of alluring, dangerous, characters and factions. You are dead now but stronger, quicker, more alluring and with potential for so much more. Choose to be brutal and unflinching or cultured and seductive. Use charm, cunning, terror and sheer will to rise through vampire society. What monster will you be?"

Madden NFL 21

Madden NFL 21 is coming to Xbox Series X. That's the blurb.

Chorus

Chorus, which is not spelled like Chorvs, is a new space-flight combat shooter slated to launch in 2021. It looks like hardcore sci-fi and super dark. I'm into it. The description reads:

"Become Nara and Forsaken, her sentient starfighter, on a compelling, personal journey of redemption. Unlock devastating weapons and mind-bending abilities in a true evolution of the space-combat shooter. Explore breath-taking interstellar vistas, ancient temples and venture beyond our waking reality. Outgun, outwit, and outmaneuver your enemies in an epic quest to free the galaxy from oppression."

Scorn

We got another trailer for Scorn, but this time it's a cinematic. It looked cool, but it didn't really tell us much about the game. It did reveal, however, that it would be launching on Xbox Game Pass, but there's still no release date.

Dirt 5

Surprise, surprise, another Dirt game is coming. This game takes place in New York City and will feature the renowned voice actors Nolan North and Troy Baker. It's slated to launch October 2020.

Bright Memory: Infinite

Bright Memory: Infinite is a fast-paced first-person action game with guns, swords and stylish sci-fi cars. The current description of the game reads:

"Bright Memory: Infinite is set in a sprawling, futuristic metropolis in the year 2036. A strange phenomenon for which scientists can find no explanation has occurred in the skies around the world. The Supernatural Science Research Organization (SRO) has sent agents out to various regions to investigate this phenomenon. It is soon discovered that these strange occurrences are connected to an archaic mystery – an as-of-yet unknown history of two worlds, about to come to light..."

How to watch Xbox Series X games event

The Inside Xbox event already aired. You can find the stream on one of many of Xbox's social platforms, which will be linked below. You can also watch it in the linked video above.

Xbox Series X games event aftermath

There wasn't as much gameplay as we hoped and definitely not as many trailers as we hoped either. All we got were third-party games, but Xbox did say that we would be getting first-party reveals sometime in July.

One of the most anticipated game reveals is Playground Games' Fable 4. We don't know that Fable 4 exists nor do we know that Playground Games is even working on it, but rumors have been floating around for quite a while now. I'm hoping there's some credence to it because I need Fable back in my life.

Stay tuned for more updates about the next Inside Xbox event.
