The Seagate FreeAgent Go delivers a whopping 160GB of storage and a generous five-year warranty. The 6.4-ounce drive's Espresso Brown finish is offset by a bright amber power indicator, and its 4.8 x 3.9 x 0.7-inch dimensions give it a slightly larger footprint than most drives. A three-way USB cable (some older PCs may not provide enough power through a single USB port) is included in the box, along with a printed quick-start guide.

Preinstalled software includes Ceedo, a utility that makes it easy to back up personal desktop folders such as My Documents, My Pictures, My Music, and IE Favorites and use them on any host PC. Also included on the drive are Seagate's FreeAgent Tools, which allow you to select and synchronize folders, run diagnostics, and disable drive LED indicators. Faster-than-average read and write times in our tests solidify this drive as a top pick.
