Mobile professionals and casual notebook users who require stable, comfortable typing environments at their desks or on their laps can't go wrong with the Laptop Desk Futura. It features several ventilation slots that allow the notebook to breathe, and because it sits atop the high-impact ABS plastic shell it will prevent your legs from getting hot. Rubber bumpers will keep your notebook from sliding down while you type.

On the desktop, the Laptop Desk Futura locks into one of five ergonomic positions, and we were able to find an angle both on our desk and our lap that caused far less stress on our wrists than when in our usual typing positions. Unfolding the Futura for use on the lap provides more stability than you'd get with just setting a notebook on your knees. Our only gripe is that there isn't much room for a mouse; if you want to be able to use one, you're better of with the Laptop Desk 2.0 or the UltraLite model, or spring for the the MouzPad add-on ($9.95).
