7 Ways to Make Siri Smarter

  • MORE

For me, the beauty of Siri on the iPhone is this voice-powered assistant's ability to minimize the number of steps or taps it takes to get things done, whether it's setting an alarm, finding out who won last night's game or finding a place to eat. With the iPhone 5S reportedly right around the corner, I wanted to voice my own wish list for adding to Siri's talents. And if Google or Samsung want to use my ideas to beef up Google Now or S Voice, that's fine, too.

Great ideas, Mark. It would be especially nice if they could make the iPhone 5 completely hands free
simply by giving an audible command "Siri, ..." I might even consider keeping
it instead of changing over to the Razr Maxx HD.

The "Settings made simpler" already exist, with the same abilities you listed, in a jailbroken device with a special app. So it is indeed feasible. Also you can say "Play Somebody that I used to know", Siri will then look into your music library, play it, or if you don't have it, it will look in the spotify app and play it right from there.
The other ideas are great anyway !
