Boxee and D-Link partnered to create one of the most compelling products to appear at CES 2010: the Boxee Box. This work of art is a small set-top box that cannot only play a wide range of local media files, but also taps into a plethora of online sources (including MLB TV, Netflix, NPR, and Pandora) via Ethernet or 802.11n Wi-Fi. Previously, if you wanted to access the Boxee on your big screen, you needed to connect your notebook to the TV. Besides watching video or streaming audio, you can keep in touch with friends and family using the integrated Facebook and Twitter clients, or surf the Web with the included Boxee Browser. You can also enjoy photos from services like Flickr and Picasa. Rounding out this excellent package is a remote that sports a standard D-pad on the front and a full QWERTY keyboard on the back.
