Bluetooth

Bluetooth wireless technology lets your laptop connect to other Bluetooth-enabled devices that are close by, so you can use things like keyboards, headphones or cell phones without any wires. Ah, the freedom.

Hard Drive

A hard drive is basically your laptop's filing cabinet. It's where stuff like software, movies and pictures is stored. The bigger the hard drive, the more it can hold.

Processor

A processor, you guessed it, processes information on your laptop. It's like a brain. The more processing speed you have, the faster your laptop can think. And having a dual core processor is like having two brains.

RAM

RAM is essentially your computer's short-term memory. It's a temporary storage space for all the day-to-day information your computer needs - and is emptied every time your computer goes to sleep. The more RAM your computer has, the faster it can think. Want speed? Get lots of it.

USB Port

A USB port allows your laptop to connect to other electronic devices using a cable. Think of it as a socket. Simply plug things like a printer into the USB port and voilÃ , you're up and ready to go.

WiFi

WiFi lets you connect to the Internet in places that have a wireless access. And it's built in, so you don't have to set anything up. Simply kick back at your favorite coffee shop and e-mail away.
