The tumultuous weather that's been striking the Midwest lately is beyond tragic. Advance storm warning systems have come a long way in the past few years and while any type of advance notice is beneficial, the sooner the warning comes, the better.

At the Google Android 3.0 preview we got a chance to see some third-party apps in development for Honeycomb. WeatherBug is a popular app for weather nerds and casual users alike, and now it's optimized for Android tablets.
