We tested these affordable ExpressCards and USB modems in three different locations: on the 21st floor of our office building in Manhattan, underground in Penn Station, and in Long Beach, Long Island. In each spot, we timed download and upload speeds of a 25MB file, as well as the time to load three Web sites. Which cards were the fastest at both downloading and uploading? Read on to find out.
