It’s that time of year, when tax deadlines force all of us to reassess budgets, investments, and what we owe Uncle Sam. The line between the Web and software is blurring as Web sites act more like standalone financial applications and software comes to rely on the Web and real-time updates. Familiar brands such as Money, TurboTax, and Quicken have been with us for a decade and remain great options, but we went broader to find a range of tools that should satisfy everyone from the most basic 1040 filers to Gordon Gekko wannabes.
