What Does 2009 Hold for Mini-Notebooks?

If 2008 was the year the netbook was born, 2009 will be the year it learns to walk. While most netbooks on the market today have almost identical specs—an 8.9- to 10-inch display, Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM and Windows XP—the future for the small laptops looks to be livelier. Touchscreens, integrated GPS, and slick interfaces are just a few new features headed for the Lilliputian laptops. The following netbooks will hit the market in the first half of 2009. Here is what we can look forward to.
