The X Series weighs a mere 1.6 pounds—half the weight of most competitors. How did Sony do it? By using a carbon fiber exterior that’s as tough as it is light. The 11.1-inch screen is packed with 1366 x 768 pixels. Under the hood, this netbook has a 2.0-GHz Intel Atom Z550 CPU, 2GB of RAM, Intel GMA 500 graphics, and a 128GB SSD. Sony also packs the X Series with a plethora of connectivity options: 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, and Verizon Wireless mobile broadband.
