checkpoint-friendly-bags2_sh.jpgWhen dealing with the ins and outs of airport security checkpoints, things can get pretty hairy. Thanks to the TSA’s new, relaxed rules on laptops, however, several bag manufacturers have created cases that simply fold open, roll down the conveyer belt, and get us through screenings quicker.

To see if these bags really make life easier, three of LAPTOP’s intrepid travelers put the pioneer models to the test in four different airports across the country. Surprisingly, even at this early stage most TSA employees didn’t flinch when we left our notebooks in their cases. But it wasn’t all smooth sailing, either.
