Calls to tech support can take far too long, eating into your day. However, sometimes--say, if you're staring down a Blue Screen of Death or your laptop just won't turn on--that's the only way to get help. But many common problems can be solved by consumers themselves. We have simple solutions for your PC that could save you a tech support headache the next time around.
All PC manufacturers offer technical support in the form of e-mail, live chat, and (usually) 24/7, toll-free phone lines. You can also purchase tech support from a third-party company, such as PlumChoice. But chances are, if your computer isn't broken you can take care of the most common problems yourself.
