One of the features Microsoft touted about Windows 7 before launch was its touch friendliness. No longer would we need a "Tablet Edition" of the operating system for slates and convertibles, just regular Windows with touch enabled.

Oh no, not another Android tablet! That's what I first thought when Taiwanese company Cywee whipped out its 7-inch slate here at CTIA, which PCD is bringing to market by the middle of next year.

About 12,000 people are expected to be in San Francisco this week to attend CTIA Enterprise & Applications 2010, and as you can tell by the name, it will definitely have a business focus. But that doesn't mean there won't be any excitement.

All year, we've watched as phone and then tablet manufacturers jumped aboard the Android bandwagon, pumping out device after device across every major carrier. LG, at least for now, is bucking the trend.
