Well, at least it's cheaper than the $599 Xoom. T-Mobile announced that its 8.9-inch LG G-Slate, the carrier's first Android 3.0 tablet, will cost $529 with a tw0-year contract.

If you want a 3G iPad, but don't much care if it's the new one, you might consider heading over to AT&T. Why? They're dropping prices on first-gen 3G iPads, selling the 16GB model for $429, with the 64GB iPad 3G costing a paltry $529.
