It seems like not a day goes by that we don't report on a new Eee PC model, but the Eee PC S101, which we had the opportunity to play around with for an hour this morning, is a like no Eee PC we have seen before. .

The netbook market is getting a bit crowded, but consumer passion for mini-notebooks isn't going to end anytime soon. Though many have similar specs and sizes, one potentially major difference is the battery each unit ships with. .

We are still waiting to get our hands on the $699 premium Eee PC S101, but we also wouldn't mind pawing an Eee PC that went back to its low-cost roots. .
