Back when they announced the iPad, Apple dashed any hopes that the company might someday consider making a netbook. They'd stated this before, but their tablet effectively put a nail in the coffin on that discussion for the near future.

It's the lightest 11.6-inch netbook we've ever seen, and it's simply gorgeous. We just went hands-on with the LG X300, which weighs only 2.2 pounds yet crams in a 2.0-GHz Intel Atom Z550 processor.

Many of you entered our Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3t contest a few weeks ago but, sadly, there was only one winner. Don't despair, though! You can still score this tablet netbook for less than the asking price. $549 isn't free, sure, but it's $150 off..
