Remember the iRiver Story? That slim and cute 6-inch eReader that the company showed off at CES this year but which never launched in the U.S. That wasn't a huge surprise as the eReader market here is getting pretty cutthroat.

Archos isn't the only company aiming for mid-size tablets as well as large-screen models. Yifang Digital was showing off a 5-inch Android MID at their IFA booth today, and I stopped by to get a little hands-on time..
