    In some ways you are right, but, in my opinion the user interface of the S Translator is much better than any other translator app that I've seen, and I don't think you can get this on the iphone. If I am wrong, please let me know (rowith8@hotmail.com). I changed from the Samsung S4 (has problems) to an iphone 4s. It's not too late to change again. I'm investigating the S3.

    Title should read "Samsung creates proprietary apps that are already available." It has nothing to do with iPhone, really except to say that there are apps that do what Samsung's apps will do. These apps are already available for Android too.

    I do have to point out that you can't compare effectively turning your G4 into a universal remote via an IR port with cable companies' apps. Totally different functionality.
