    To be honest, as both an IT guy, and a personal user, I thought Windows 7 narrowly replaced Windows ME as the worst of them all. It discarded everything good from Xp and kept all the bad from Vista. Windows 8 is at least fast and streamline, and a start menu is just a quick google search and 10mb download away.
