How to Use the Windows 7 Search Box to Launch Programs

Forgot to add a shortcut to the desktop? Use the Windows 7 search box to launch it.

Just type the program's name or partial name (Skype, for example) into the Start menu search box, and then hit Enter. You don't even need to use your mouse to get to the Start menu; just tap the Windows key.
