How To Customize the iPhone's Universal Search Results

Prioritize universal search results to find what you're looking for.

Swipe to the left on your iPhone to search everything from messages to apps, but save time by leaving certain types of results off your list or prioritizing the order in which results appear.

1. Tap Settings > General > Home > Search Results.

2. Select or deselect items you want to appear in Universal Search.

3. Tap the symbol to the right and rearrange the remaining items in the list by dragging them up or down with your finger.

4. Press the Home button to save your settings.
