Logic3’s i-Station iPod speaker dock may impress with its sleek, black contours, but looks are deceiving. The 2.1 subwoofer cranks out tunes at pretty good volume but chokes on bass-heavy songs. In general, cradles that accommodate iPods of various sizes typically aren’t secure, and this is no exception. The sound booster isn’t particularly effective. This is a decent accessory, but there are better options for the price.
